Frequently Asked Questions

All of our ranch animals (hooved, feathered, pawed and clawed) are typically 'free-range'.  For their protection, at night & during harsh/questionable weather, they are in their coops and/or corals/pens.

Due to our love of nature and animals; all of our ranch animals are either rescued or adopted as family/pets.  They are all loved and very well cared for. Plus, they are SO darn adorable. 

Yes.  Each dog and cat have been through vigorous training (by us) to insure they know that they all "belong" here.  The cats keep the mice away and yet, they get along with the all of our birds -- and, the dogs help heard & protect as well.  And yes, all the dogs and cats are pals too. 

We strive on being fair... And to be fair, most of our edible goodies are derived from foraged ingredients. Thus, we pass the savings on to you. 

All of our pawed and clawed little lovelies have either been adopted or rescued. Each of of them are as unique as a snowflake...They have their own quirky personalities, needs, wants, they all know that you have given them a better life and in some cases they know that you have saved their life. We love each and every one of them unconditionally and equally. And if truth be known they in a sense have rescued/adopted us; rather than us rescuing/adopting them. They make our hearts smile. They need us and we need them. When you rescue or adopt an animal from a shelter or elsewhere, you are saving two lives - the one that you are rescuing/adopting and the next one who needs that space.
